Born in 1967, Dublin, Ireland

Comerford's paintings achieve a cinematic quality that is at once unsettling and familiar; the deserted open road often seen as day disolves into night or vice versa. There is an almost perfect stillness in his work of moments trapped in time with great power emanating from his beautifully worked surfaces.
